Position Summary

White Pass Railroad is seeking Track Supervisors to oversee the inspection, repair, and maintenance planning of its of track, structures, and right of way. WPY is a track class 2 passenger railroad handling nearly 700,000 passengers between May and September. The WPY corridor can see up to 30 passenger train movements daily.

Track Supervisors serve as technical matter field-experts inspecting track, planning repairs, and directing crews. Additionally, Track Supervisors are expected to train employees on safe practices, and good work technique, and to mentor all employees toward advancement in skill, grade, and job classification.
WPY is a civil engineering landmark running through mountain territory in Alaska, British Columbia, and Yukon Territory with a record of innovation and strong investment in safety and modernization all in keeping with being one of the world’s largest shore excursions.

WPY is regulated by both USA and Canada. Competitive package and benefits. Positions are based in Skagway, Alaska and Carcross, Yukon Territory with the ability to work remotely four months of the year.
