Both sides of the border on the Chilkoot Trail will reopen in June 2025. Please note that full trail hiking from the US to Canada is not permitted in 2025. Hikers will not be allowed to cross the border due to the trail not being an official point of entry. Day hikes and overnight hiking on the Canadian side are permitted from Bennett and require advance permit reservations through Parks Canada. WP&YR will be asking for permit confirmation before issuing train tickets in\/out of Lake Bennett.<\/p>\n
