Description: Year round, Benefitted, Full Time Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at White Pass & Yukon Route. $30-$38/Hour DOE

White Pass & Yukon Route is looking to fulfill a position for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Coordinator who can perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and renovation tasks at both our Depot location and housing facilities.  This is a year-round benefited position that includes health & dental insurance with flexible hours.

Job Purpose: We are looking for the right individual who has a diverse skill set, good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills are also a must. Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

Duties:

  • Performing various repair tasks such as fixing plumbing issues, repairing electrical fixtures, patching walls, fixing doors and windows, repairing appliances, and addressing other general maintenance tasks.
  • Carpentry work
  • Painting and finishing

  • Basic electrical work
  • General maintenance
  • Installing or repairing drywall
  • Tiling and flooring
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Performing scheduled maintenance

  • Self-Motivator
  • Coordinating contractors, vendors, and laborers as needed
  • Adhering to safety standards: following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for themselves and others.
